Around 158 family members and friends attended the June 2011 reunion at Top of the Ridge in West Bend - beating the 1970 Artesian Lake attendance record of 130 by over 20 percent (20%).  The noise level and smiles all around gave evidence of the good time had by all.  We look forward to the next reunion in five (5) or three (3) years - the timing dependent upon the willingness of the OUTSTANDING organizers to handle it all, again, so soon.

Claus Hinrich , Paterfamilias of the surnamed, branch of the Bremen descented family came to the USA in 1867.  As had many of his cousins before him, Hinrich stayed in New York City and visited other places before settling in Jackson. Hinrich's farm was located on Pleasant Valley Road in the town of Jackson, Wisconsin.  It's now owned by non-family members and is well maintained.  Hinrich came to Wisconsin around 1870, when our population was 1,054,670.  It's now over 5 million, but had his countrymen of the time been as prolific as he, it would be over 50 million! Various spellings of Hinrich's surname have been found.
